Arts Council Project Award & Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown Heritage Grant funding awarded

The ongoing research project ‘If You Seek Monuments’ has been awarded funding by The Arts Council. The Project Award (Strand 1) supports planning and pre-production, research, and development of new, ambitious work.

In addition the project has been awarded funding by the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Heritage Grants Scheme, 2026, awarded jointly to Gavin Murphy & author Deirdre Nuttall. This funding will support a call-out and the conducting of in-person interviews with residents of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown to inform research on 20th century suburban housing estates and the formation of an archive in conjunction with the Local Studies Collection, Lexicon Library.
